Web 2.0 Overview
My friend Maegan Slaten recently gave a presentation on Web 2.0 that provides a nice overview and the numerous applications on the Web. As you view the presentation, take note of a few tools that might interest you. Post a comment about the tool you found most interesting.
Cool Text
Cool Text (http://cooltext.com) is a Web 2.0 graphic generator that helps you create logos, banners, and other graphic representations for Web or other electronic use. Try it out and see what you can create that you could use in one of your courses. Send the result to the instructor (note: you can email it from the Cool Text site).
Web 2.0 Tool Selection
Go to the Web 2.0 Tools link on the Radford University Web site and explore some of the creative tools available free online. Choose one that you like and create a learning resource (video, Web document, Web page, etc) appropriate for your discipline. Post it online in your Web page, blog, etc and post the url here in the comments.
